Hello, my name is Aman (pronounced ah-MAHN). I am a queer trans man of Pinoy, Indo-Caribbean, and Irish ancestry, and I am AuDHD. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling.
I believe that each person brings with them unique experiences, identities, and strengths into the therapeutic space. My clinical approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, with a commitment to creating a compassionate, safer, and anti-oppressive
environment. I honor the courage it takes to seek therapy and strive to meet that courage with deep respect, compassion, and care.
My therapeutic work is integrative, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches. I support clients in blending practical tools with meaningful self-discovery and self-acceptance, always meeting
people where they are, and going at a pace that feels comfortable and safe.
More specifically I operate from an awareness of systems of oppression and power. I am informed by how those impact the way we experience sexuality, race, class, identity, neurotype, body size, personally, relationally, and culturally. It is my priority to
support my clients to find what matters most to them, to make meaningful connections, and to create a life that is best for them.
