Alexander Maltby (he/him/his) first came out as queer when he was 15 years old. In the past he has volunteered for TransFamily Support Services—an organization dedicated to helping transgender and nonbinary individuals and their families. Currently he’s working towards his PhD in Classical Studies—a field concerned with the culture, languages, history, and literature of ancient Greece and Rome— where one of his main research interests is queerness in ancient Greek literature.
