Chris is a trans nonbinary, queer, neurodivergent person, and a trainee therapist. They are pursuing their masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles and specializing in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychology. Chris is passionate about approaches to therapy which support people in making new meanings from their experiences, examining their strengths and needs as individuals and members of communities, and telling new stories in their lives. Chris previously studied filmmaking at San Francisco State University and was active in the city’s independent queer cinema scene for several years. Their work as an editor has informed their therapeutic interest in working collaboratively with people to tell their stories in new ways. They have lived and worked in Los Angeles for the past decade. In their spare time Chris enjoys tabletop roleplaying games and building the occasional Lego.
