Lisa, a Nurse Practitioner with 20+ years of experience, has worked in emergency medicine, international aid with Doctors Without Borders, and primary care outreach with Seattle’s homeless population. She most recently provided HRT and abortion services at a nonprofit clinic in Seattle before moving to SoCal and joining the Transgender Health and Wellness Center where she offers laser hair removal and IPL. She and her wife moved to the Coachella Valley three years ago to care for her elderly mother. Outside of work, she volunteers as a big dog walker at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and a foster mom for both dogs and cats. Their current crew includes five dogs (all rescues) and a foster cat named Moose. Lisa is thrilled to be working with the Valley’s LGBTQI+ community and looks forward to many more years of service, providing compassionate care, advocacy, and support.
